Note: HERO2QUEST is currently under Public Beta Phase, so contents in the Whitepaper could be changed in the future.

HERO2QUEST is currently in Public Beta. Therefore, the provisions of the Whitepaper/technical documentation and the platform rules may be updated.

Nature of the Whitepaper and website materials

The Whitepaper, the website, and any accompanying documentation of HERO2QUEST are provided solely for general informational purposes and do not constitute a prospectus, an offering, or an investment or other proposal. The information may be incomplete, and its availability does not create any contractual obligations between you and HERO2QUEST.

If the documents/website use information from third-party sources, HERO2QUEST and/or its team may not independently verify the accuracy or completeness of such information. We strive to keep information current, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free.

Disclaimer of warranties

HERO2QUEST provides the platform, materials, and services “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, HERO2QUEST disclaims all warranties (express, implied, statutory, or arising from custom or usage), including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, conformity with user expectations, and the like.

User content, authorship, and anti-plagiarism

1) Core rule

On HERO2QUEST, you may publish only content for which you have sufficient rights:

  • your original authored works; and/or

  • materials that you are legally entitled to use (under a license, written permission, applicable legal exceptions, etc.).

Plagiarism, re-uploading others’ works, using compilations without rights, “stolen” texts/art/assets, and presenting someone else’s content as your own are prohibited.

2) Your representations and warranties (mandatory terms)

By posting content on HERO2QUEST, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are the author and/or the lawful rights holder of the content or you have all necessary permissions to publish it;

  • publishing the content does not infringe copyrights, related rights, trademarks, rights of publicity/image rights, personal data rights, trade secrets, or any other rights of third parties;

  • you do not upload content obtained in violation of law or the terms of third-party platforms.

3) How we “verify authorship” and reduce plagiarism risk

To protect authors and the platform itself, HERO2QUEST uses a combination of organizational and technical measures (which may change):

  • moderation and complaint handling (manual review of disputed cases);

  • authorship verification upon publication and/or upon request: we may ask you to confirm authorship (drafts, source files, project files, edit timelines, prior publications/portfolio, links to the original source, metadata, proof of license/permission);

  • automated signals (e.g., similarity checks/suspicious pattern detection, behavioral indicators) that help identify plagiarism risk, but do not guarantee 100% detection;

  • logging and publication traces (technical timestamps, change history, internal identifiers) to facilitate dispute resolution.

Important: even with these measures, it is impossible to guarantee that every plagiarism attempt will be prevented in advance. Therefore, the key mechanism is rapid response to reports from rights holders/authors and enforcement against violators.

If you believe content on HERO2QUEST infringes your rights, you may submit a complaint/notice. Upon a substantiated notice, HERO2QUEST may:

  • promptly remove or restrict access to the disputed material;

  • request additional evidence from the parties;

  • temporarily limit account functionality during the review;

  • where necessary, route the dispute through a formal procedure (depending on jurisdiction and applicable law).

This “receive notice → quickly restrict access → review the dispute” model is standard practice for UGC platforms. In the U.S., it is associated with limited service provider liability under the DMCA when conditions are met, including prompt removal and a policy for repeat infringers.

5) Repeat infringer policy

If a user repeatedly posts disputed/infringing content or ignores requests to remove content/provide proof of rights, HERO2QUEST may impose sanctions up to and including:

  • removal of materials,

  • temporary suspension,

  • permanent account termination.

6) Posting license (only for operating the service)

You retain rights to your content. However, by posting it on HERO2QUEST, you grant HERO2QUEST a non-exclusive license (to the extent necessary to operate the platform): to host, reproduce, technically process, display, distribute within the service, and make backup copies. This license does not transfer ownership and is required only for the functioning of hosting and display.

7) User responsibility and indemnity

You agree that if claims are brought against HERO2QUEST due to your content/actions (for example, copyright claims), you will cooperate in resolving the dispute and, where permitted by law, compensate reasonable losses/expenses resulting from breaches of your warranties.

Limitation of liability (general)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HERO2QUEST is not liable for any direct or indirect losses (including lost profits, loss of data, reputational harm, service interruptions) arising from the use of the platform, documentation materials, or user content, even if HERO2QUEST has been advised of the possibility of such losses.

AI functionality disclaimer

HERO2QUEST uses AI technologies to generate personalized quests, narrative, and educational content. AI operates autonomously and may sometimes produce results that:

  • do not match the context,

  • contain errors/inconsistencies,

  • may be perceived as inappropriate.

You acknowledge the limitations of AI and use outputs at your own risk. You agree to critically evaluate AI outputs and report issues so we can improve the system. HERO2QUEST reserves the right to modify, suspend, or disable AI features at any time without liability to users.
