1Project Description

HERO2QUEST Strategic Book-to-Quest Learning Game: is a Serverless on-chain platform that turns narratives into a network of educational quests with rewards and recording progress as proof of knowledge. Progress and crafting are written on-chain on blockchain and published on X as verifiable events.

The platform helps writers attract attention to their books and stories by turning them into quests with progress, rewards, and verifiable UGC that spreads through social networks.

Players complete missions, craft heroes, and collect items, while every meaningful step of progress is recorded as an on-chain fact (transactions/events). These facts become verifiable UGC by design: posts on X include tx/proof and turn X into the “social layer” for quests, while blockchain becomes the “proof layer” for progress. The project targets creators (writers, fan art / fan fiction creators, and community storytellers) who get a native blockchain format for interactive content, and players who get verifiable achievements and rewards.

Key Blockchain Usage Highlights

  • Fully on-chain execution (serverless): quests, completion rules, crafting, rewards, and progress verification are executed by smart contracts — without trusted backend servers.

  • On-chain events as a public “progress log”: core actions (e.g., Crafted / QuestCompleted / LootClaimed) are emitted by contracts and act as the source of truth for verifiability, showcases, and analytics.

  • Proof-by-design for UGC: every hero/item/completion is bound to a transaction hash plus a minimal proof set (network, contract/app ID, hero/item ID, event type, block/ledger reference) and can be verified independently of our UI.

  • Native on-chain economy: rewards and access are implemented as blockchain assets/tokens, and reward issuance is confirmed by network transactions.

  • Real asset flows (not internal bookkeeping): quest token locks, unlocks, and payouts are performed as real on-chain transfers and custody changes (e.g., escrow/holding accounts with permissioning constraints), rather than only updating internal balances inside contracts. This increases transparency and auditability—each lock/unlock/reward is a distinct network transaction—at the cost of higher throughput demands and the need for batching/flow optimization at scale.

  • Composable quests and portable progress: achievements and asset/NFT ownership become portable across quests and creators — a unified standard layer for an interactive narrative ecosystem.

  • Social distribution with on-chain verification: on-chain facts are packaged into public posts/threads on X so build/strategy discussions revolve around verifiable artifacts, not untrusted claims.

  • Ecosystem value: lowers the barrier for creators and communities to publish interactive content, while highlighting blockchain strengths — transparent, verifiable actions and rewards suitable for large-scale UGC.

MVP Version 1.0

The product is already implemented in a basic (MVP) form and is operational: key user scenarios run end-to-end and confirm readiness for a pilot launch.

We follow a “product-first” strategy: building a working game and the core infrastructure before running large-scale advertising campaigns.

We have made a clear strategic decision to launch on the blockchain platform going forward, and the minimum viable product (MVP) stage is complete; the product roadmap is defined around blockchain.

As an additional tool to grow the audience at the initial stage, we have already developed and are using a Telegram Mini App: @PortalPointBotarrow-up-right.

Integrating the PORTAL POINTarrow-up-right mini app with Hero2Quest creates an additional channel for user engagement and retention, and also serves as the technical foundation for campaigns related to user tasks, on-chain missions, and Know2Earn-style educational activities. Portal Point is planned as an additional marketing and user acquisition channel.
