How to create an NFT Hero?

In the game, the NFT-HERO token is used to complete game missions. The player can stake NFT HERO by blocking them for a while to receive QST and H2Q tokens.

Where to Obtain NFT-Heroes

NFT-Heroes are created using the NFT-HERO Generators. To create a hero, you will need an avatar, clothing, and items, which can be found in the ASSETS section. In the game, avatars and items are only obtained through quests; they cannot be purchased or transferred to other accounts. Alternatively, you can buy pre-made Heroes from NFT marketplaces.

Select the NFT-Hero Generator: Go to the HERO Creator section in the main menu. The generator will automatically select an avatar from your collection (the most recently added one).

Load an Avatar:

• Alternatively, you can navigate to the ASSETS page and click on the Avatars tab.

• Find the avatar you want to use and click the + icon beneath it.

This will load the selected avatar into the NFT-HERO Generator, which will open automatically.

Follow the steps below to design your unique Hero.

Step 1: Access the NFT-HERO Generator

• Open the Generator: Select the HERO Creator section from the main menu to access the NFT-HERO Generators.

Step 2: Choose Your Avatar

• View Empty Slots: You will see empty slots for items and your chosen avatar without any clothing or accessories.

• Change Avatar: You can change your avatar before generating the NFT-HERO:

  • Click on the avatar change icon.

  • A window will appear, allowing you to cycle through your available avatars from your collection.

Step 3: Load Items

• Load Items from Collection: To add items to your Hero:

  • Click the central square with a rotating arrow. This action will load your items from the collection into the slots.

  • If you have more than 7 items in your collection, the generator will randomly select 7 items from your available options. For example, if you have 16 items, 7 will be loaded randomly into the item slots.

• Automatic Application: The loaded items will automatically be equipped on your avatar. If you wish to see your avatar without the items, click on the "Remove Items/Equip Items" icon.

Step 4: Review Costs

• Check Item Value: As you load items, you will see the total value in H2Q tokens (Item Value) displayed.

• Generation Price: This indicates the cost to mint the new Hero image, also in H2Q tokens (Generation Price).

• Total Creation Cost: The total cost for creating the NFT-Hero will appear on the Create NFT-Hero button. This amount is the sum of the Item Value and the Generation Price:

  • Item Value + Generation Price = Create NFT Hero.

  • For example:

    • Item Value = 235 H2Q (total value of items in the slots).

    • Generation Price = 20 H2Q (cost of generating the Hero).

    • Create NFT Hero = 255 H2Q (total cost to create the Hero).

Step 5: Change Items (Optional)

• Select Different Items: If you want a different Hero with other items, click the Change Items button in the center of the item slots. This will load new items randomly.

Costs of Creating an NFT-HERO

Creating your NFT-HERO involves certain costs associated with item requests and the generation process. Here’s a breakdown of these costs to help you understand how they accumulate:

Generation Price

• Blockchain Processing: Each item request is processed on the blockchain. Every time you change or request new items for your NFT-HERO, the Generation Price increases. This reflects the ongoing costs associated with blockchain transactions.

• Incremental Cost: The Generation Price is dynamic and will increase with each new request for items. You can find the current Generation Price displayed in H2Q tokens below your Hero during the creation process (e.g., Generation Price = 20 H2Q).

Total Minting Cost

• Total Token Cost: The overall cost for minting your NFT-HERO is shown on the Create NFT Hero button. This total includes both the Generation Price and the value of the items you have selected.

  • For instance, if the total cost displayed is 255 H2Q, this amount combines the Item Value and the Generation Price.

Example

• If your Item Value is 235 H2Q and the Generation Price is 20 H2Q, the total cost for minting your NFT-HERO will be calculated as follows:

  • Item Value (235 H2Q) + Generation Price (20 H2Q) = Create NFT Hero (255 H2Q).

Understanding these costs will help you manage your resources effectively as you create and customize your NFT-HERO in Hero2Quest. Always keep an eye on the Generation Price, as it will influence your overall minting expenses.

Locking Items in Slots

You have the option to lock up to three items in a slot to ensure that they remain fixed on your Hero during the next request for new items. Here’s how you can do this:

How to Lock Items

1. Select the Item: Click on the item you wish to lock. Once selected, this item will stay in the slot during future item requests.

2. Visual Confirmation: A frame with a lock icon will appear in the lower right corner of the locked item, indicating that it has been successfully locked.

Finalizing Your Hero

• Review Your Selection: After you have chosen your items and see your Hero, if you are satisfied with the result, you can mint your Hero as an NFT token that will belong to you.

• Minting Process: To mint your NFT, simply click on the “Create NFT Hero” button.

Resetting Your Selection

• Starting Over: If you are not happy with the combination of items selected, you can reset your choices by clicking the Reset button (represented by a cross icon) in the lower right corner.

• Cost of Resetting: Please note that resetting items is a paid option, and the required amount of H2Q will be deducted from your balance. To avoid unnecessary costs, try to make informed decisions when selecting quests for item gathering and optimizing your item collection.

After Minting

• Once you press the “Create NFT HERO” button and confirm the minting process, your new Hero will be added to your collection.

• After minting, you have the option to stay on the generator page or navigate to your collection of Heroes.
